Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using VAIBot. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using VAIBot (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including those on the Free tier.
2. Description of service
VAIBot provides AI governance and provenance services including the Governance API (V2), Provenance API (V1), remote MCP server, dashboard, and associated developer tools. The Service is operated by Campbell Labs LLC ("we," "us," "our").
3. Account and API keys
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. Do not share API keys publicly or commit them to version control. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use VAIBot to: violate any applicable laws or regulations; send spam, malware, or other harmful content through agents connected to the Service; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent rate limits or quota enforcement; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or use the Service in any way that could harm Campbell Labs LLC or other users.
5. Quota and billing
Free tier accounts receive 1,000 governed decisions per month. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup. NET30 billing is available to qualifying accounts that complete email verification. Overuse beyond your plan quota may result in queued decisions or temporary suspension until the next billing cycle. Refunds are issued at our discretion.
6. On-chain data
Governance receipts anchored on-chain via the Audit plan are permanent and cannot be removed. You acknowledge that hashes submitted to Base mainnet are public and immutable. No personally identifiable information is included in on-chain records; only cryptographic hashes of governance receipt content.
7. Intellectual property
The VAIBot platform, including all software, APIs, documentation, and branding, is owned by Campbell Labs LLC. You retain ownership of any content produced by your agents. We do not claim ownership of governance receipt data generated by your usage of the Service.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that governance decisions will prevent all undesired agent actions. VAIBot is a tool — ultimate responsibility for agent behavior remains with the operator.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Campbell Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
